And that's a good point, too: specifically with respect to implementation of
Post Formats, if a developer is making a specific, intentional design
decision, and documents/explains that design decision in readme.txt, we
should certainly be lenient.

Of course, we might suggest that such design intent at least have a
Theme-option fallback - and user testing of such Themes might give us a
better idea of what users prefer, which in turn will help in establishing
the needed conventions.
