[theme-reviewers] Links that go nowhere

I would concur with your comments.

There's absolutely no reason to dump dummy links in a sidebar like that. Use
a call to *wp_list_bookmarks()* or *the_widget( 'WP_Widget_Links' )*, at the
very least.
