if someone wants to pick it up and run with it, the logic at
http://blog.xhcl.net/testing/gatekeeper.phps could be a very nice
"transparent" trackback reduction plugin.

http://blog.xhcl.net/
http://climbtothestars.org/play/ (for blocked referer) -> redirect to
http://blog.xhcl.net/fuckoff.php

extend it with mysql and make it a wp plugin, i wrote it for fun (took
like 5 minutes ;-) )
so, if someone wants to use this, just make sure that the derivatives
are open source, blah blah blah, share it with the community if you
mess with it.
