Yup, that fixed the re-login bug. I've put back in some reverted changes 
in functions.php and upload.php. But there's currently a bug in the code 
that detects a conflicting filename when it attempts to rename the newly 
uploaded file. Can somebody look into that? Upload a file, then try to 
upload again with the same file name. This bug exists in 1.3, as well. 
It might be my fault, but I've got to head out in a few minutes, and 
don't have time to debug it properly right this second.
