[wp-hackers] Images, images, EVERYWHERE!

I think Craig is suggesting that all plugins that use images in some
way, should use one folder for uploading, storing and working with
images.

I also know that the folder for user specific content, that can be
sustained through a series of upgrades, is wp-content.

Therefore, all plugin authors please try to conform to the
rule-of-convenience that all user specific content, such as, but not
limited to, images, should be uploaded to/stored in the
"wp-content" folder.

The Plugin/API document at the wiki has been updated with this
guideline, which should make for a better user experience.

Craig, Owen, Devs, please feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

Carthik.
