way are we going. I hope to finish my stuff ASAP but haven't decided if 
i will make a plugin or submit my patch so that someone with CVS access 
and a final saying (maybe Matt, i don't know if anyone else can/will) 
decide to check it in.

I'd love to hear some feedback :-)
