[bbDev] Newbie Question - Running from subversion

Scott,

You're following the instructions at
http://bbpress.org/documentation/installation/ ?  You say you "can
install the product" but then you say the installer "blows up".  Can
you install or not?

The checkout command to install bbpress 0.9 from Subversion is:

svn co http://svn.automattic.com/bbpress/tags/0.9/

but that's going to give you the same files you got from the archive
you downloaded.  I'd double check to make sure you're following the
instructions properly and then report back and let us know if
everything went okay.
