Well, there's still time to change the function names to  
bb_get_user_title and bb_user_title (and bb_post_author_title too, I  
suppose).  Thoughts?

No justifiable reason, just thought it might be faster for sorting  
potentially large arrays in potentially arbitrary ways.  I have  
nothing to back up that thought, though.
