[bbDev] Difficulty Adding Topics & First Posts

If anyone would be so kind as to help me out I'd be very grateful. I like
BBPress because it is so lightweight and have struggled to install and
understand the application for more than 2 hours now. I don't understand how
to add topics and initial posts. I can add forums just fine, but beyond that
I'm lost. The url for my install is:
