 Forgot to show the variable values before striping slashes:

 GET: user#folder\\bb_avatar.php
 REQUEST: user#folder\bb_avatar.php

 Note the difference by using $_GET and $_REQUEST. $_REQUEST has the
 slashes already striped, while $_GET do not.
