 I'm uncertain if this is a part that has just not yet been addressed for
 query optimization since backpress was put in or if maybe something is
 broken in the tag object cache but 1.0a2 is generating a HUGE number of
 queries for even just one or two tags on a topic page.

 Several seem to be repeating queries, exactly the same. Also fairly
 certain this is not any plugin causing the queries.
