Comment:

 I'm going to close this as fixed.  I think we've done about all we can to
 bb_mail() for 0.9.

 I'm sure there are servers where bb_mail() won't work as written.
 Luckily, the function is pluggable.  I'll see about coding up a bb_mail()
 using phpmailer this weekend.  Hopefully that will catch any problem
 cases.

 We can see about what we need to do to core for the next release.
