 I was informed by one of my users that he wasn't able to register in the
 forum. After a bit of research I found out that it was because his email
 address started with the string "id".

 I found out that if either the username or the email address start by the
 string "id" the server returns an error page stating that "An appropriate
 representation of the requested resource /register.php could not be found
 on this server."

 This happens both with bbpress 0.8.1 and a one month old svn checkout.
 I'll soon test with a recent svn checkout to see if the issue is still
 valid
