GlotPress provided a solid starting point, as it already had the log-in / perma-type in place. I just needed to extended the perma-type for Maps, Places and Checkins. Perhaps the biggest changes I made were in organizing the files. Class names / file names were a mixed bag of bb, wp, gp, glotpress, so basically changed everything to just "gp_", and then created a new level of structure for "gp-admin", "gp-content" and "gp-includes". To be honest, I was completely lost when I first opened just BackPress and tried to get things going from there. Without GlotPress, I would probably not have had the time to really get into things. However, in hindsight, I now realize that BackPress needs to remain just like that, because as soon as it tries to define how things are, it's no longer generic enough to serve its purpose, but some serious consolidation and mild organization needs to take place in order for more people to adopt the framework. My problem is now going to be that I am locked-in to the present version of BackPress, and will now need to continue forking the code. Not necessarily a bad thing in that GeoPress does need to do a lot of things (specifically the way admin is handled) differently to WordPress, but still, in an ideal world... I'm just glad to have provided another starting point and sincerely hope I am able to muster the necessary time to see the GeoPress project reach a stable, fuller-featured 1.0 release...

Kind regards;
